3 passengers struck in elevator at railway station

Three passengers were struck in a lift at a railway station in Nellore this evening for about 25 minutes. They have reportedly seen hell due to the extreme heat and suffocation inside the small lift. The passengers were scheduled to leave for Ongole from Nellore. In order to reach the platform, they took the lift under the foot over bridge.

The doors closed and they were elevated to a few feet before they noticed that lift was stopped. They didn't know what happened. The elevator had stopped due to power cuts. After waiting for more than 15 minutes Ravi Kumar collapsed due to suffocation. Remaining two persons - Anil and Koteshwara Rao called up a press reporter and 108. The trio were finally out after lift was repaired. However, it took quite sometime for them to come out of shock.
