Hi.... hello... Good Morning...

At last the much awaited Saturday is back again with fun and frolic just a few minutes away.... lets take a quick dash of what happened last week, before we go in for more news of the day. A quick look at the starts of the day, quite sunny, and not many traffic jams, something that is rare in Hyderabad. Anyways the weather department says sunny in the mornings and rainy in the evening.. that's it.

History Speaks: On this day in 1959 Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) was established. AIT is an international institution for higher education in engineering, advanced technologies, and management and planning. It "promotes technological change and sustainable development" in the Asia-Pacific region, through higher education, research and outreach.

Days Specialty: Today is  International Literacy day, or rather a day for education. Since its adoption in 1965 by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and formal observance in 1966, International Literacy Day has been marked annually on September 8, with a new mission each year.

Tirupati: Devotees rush normal inspite of weekends. Sources say that only six compartments were filled with devotees to have a glimpse of the Lord. Ordinary darshan shall take just four hours for the devotees in queue. This is the ideal time to be at the abode of the Lord of seven hills. The President of the nation H E Pranab Mukherjee is scheduled to visit the temple town today.

Sriharikota: Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh shall be present, at SHAR, to witness the launch of the PSLV  C21.

Yuvraj Singh: Sports: Yuvraj is on a comeback track after being treated for his illness. He will be opening his willow against the Kiwis at Vizag in the first T20 match between the two teams.

Entertainment: For all those out there this week we have a thorough entertainment fare for the entire family on the anvil.

Shirdi Sai: King Nag's Shirdi Sai is worth watching film which narrates the life style of the Godly Prophet Sai Baba who once lived in Shirdi. There is not a place in India that is far from a local Shirdi Sai Temple. Such is the popularity of this God who blesses his devotees with surplus goodies.

Run Baby Run: Mohan Lal, investigative journos role in Run Baby Run from the God's own country is an excellent action thriller for all fun loving movie goers.

Raaz 3: Bipasha starer Raaz 3 is admired for the virulent skin shows and exotic dosage of horror.

Kaun Banega Cororepati: KBC 06, sixth season is scheduled to commence shortly. The Amitabh hosted serial tested the brainy much and many were glued to their TV sets while the show was on air.

Ganesh Chaturti: People are eagerly awaiting the Ganesh Chaturthi which is due on the nineteenth of this month.

Last week updates: The state was gripped in sadness over the sudden death of young maestro of arts Suman of the Eenadu group.

Suman: The youngest son of Eenadu doyen Ramoji Rao, had been in medical treatment for some time. And on Thusrday midnight he died. The death came as a shock to the people who woke up to know about the issue. Suman was a versatile writer, lyricist, poet, director and an actor. All in one Suman was respected by the entire group for making the Channel soar in TRP ratings. Inspite his hectic appointment with arts, he never shied away from administrative responsibilities. He is 45 and is survived by his wife and two children. Many stalwarts from all walks of life, bade condolence to the departed star. Wishesh extends a heart felt condolence to the bereaved family.

KYPY: The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) exams last date for filing application was September 07. This exam helps the parent and the wards equally. One issue that needs to be commended is the  Department of Science and Technology, Government of India has made this test uniform to all, irrespective of any differences. It is purely based on merit.

T20 World Cup: As a booster to the T20 World Cup, India opened with a victory on this Sunday in Test Cricket. Indian Team won the second test match against New Zealand at Bangalore. Thereby winning both the tests in the two match home series against the Kiwis.
