T20 World Cup: India Slams Scotland By 8 Wickets:- India lost two crucial battles in the T20 World Cup with Pakistan and New Zealand. After reporting a huge victory against Afghanistan, Team India played with Scotland in an easy match which took place last night in Dubai International Stadium. For the first time, India won the toss in the T20 World Cup. India won the toss and elected to bowl first. Scotland started on an easy note but the Indian bowlers managed to get back-to-back wickets which made Scotland tumble down for 85 in 17.4 overs. George Munsey (24), Michale Leask (21) and Calum MacLeod (16) are the top scorers for the side. Mohammed Shami (3/15), Ravindra Jadeja (3/15) and Jasprit Bumrah (2/10) delivered their best among the Indian bowlers.

Chasing an easy target of 86, Team India opened with a bang and the team scored 89 for the loss of 2 wickets in just 6.3 overs. KL Rahul (50), Rohit Sharma (30) have been outstanding and completed the chase so easily. Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav completed the chase after the openers tumbled down. Mark Watt and Brad Wheal took the wickets among the bowlers of Scotland. Ravindra Jadeja has been named as the Player of the Match for India for his 3/15. India has now hopes of making it to the semi-finals if Afghanistan beats New Zealand.
