Lobbyists mar PRP Chief’s Image

The Praja Rajyam Party Chief K Chiranjeevi who had initially framed an agenda of social justice to all, is today termed as a leader of a particular caste. This label on the chief seems to be a   wrong publicity by a few political heads. These leaders think, they are building up the image of Mr Chiranjeevi. But in fact this wrong labeling is going to ruin the leader’s prospects of being a regional appeal. The so called lobby of protagonists around Mr Chiranjeevi is distancing him from the general public. This will yield very bad repercussions, predict the well wishers. Neither media nor the other leaders allowed anywhere near the leader, by the lobbyists, who are `junior intellects (JI).’

Critics feel that the caste tag and this distancing are hazardous for the leader’s growth in future. Another important aspect the critics feel that will hinder his prospects is the disheartened party leaders on the cabinet expansion. Some leaders who had won with romping majorities wanted to enter the cabinet with the blessings of Mr Chiranjeevi, but were prevented even from gaining his audience by these JI. If this is the case that continues, then critics feel that such leaders will pitch in at the nation’s capital and find a new `God’ to bless them with their ambitious plans. In such a case the PRP chief will have to start back from square No:1 at the time of elections.

Political sources also say that there is a growing dissent among people who walked into PRP at the beginning, because of the lobbyist attitude. On the whole it is a grim situation for the PRP chief as of now. But without appropriate corrective measures taken up, will ruin his prospects in the long run.  (With inputs from the Internet-AarKay)
