5 staff members of Railways were killed when a Railway trolley dashed against an overhead electrical car at KK lines between Sivalingapuram and Taidala near Visakhapatnam this morning.
In another event, a goods train carrying coal derailed today at Gondigudem village of Aswapuram Mandalam in Khamma district. Two bogies were stranded aside of the track and officials restricted all train moments to and fro on the track for a short duration.
Railway officials said some miscreants removed fish plates on the track last night resulting in the minor mishap. As a result, several Kazipet and Manugur bound passenger trains were stopped at other stations for several hours.
