CM asks Centre to remove 14 F

CM asks Centre to remove 14 F Chief Minister Kirankumar Reddy said today he had requested the Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram to remove the 14 F clause from the guidelines of the zonal system in the state as soon as possible and accord national status to the Polavaram and Pranahita- Chevella projects.
 
Addressing media persons at AP Bhavan in Delhi in the evening after meeting the party president Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Union Ministers Chidambaram and Ghulam Nabi Azad, and congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi in a hectic schedule during the day, Kirankumar said he urged the PM to sanction Rs.100 Cr for the proposed Mahila Bank that would come up in the state soon with a capital of Rs.400 Cr.

Disclosing that the Centre wanted to set up 6 units of BDL in the state, the chief minister said that he asked the Centre to choose the sites for the factories at the earliest. Asked about Telangana, he said the Centre will take a decision on the issue of Telangana at the most appropriate time.
