Gone Prakasa rao, the maverick congress leader from the Telangana area and a hardcore supporter of the former Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan reddy, today came down heavily on PRP chief Chiranjeevi for announcing the merger of his party with congress.

Speaking at a public meeting before Jagan had launched his Polavaram Yatra at Ravulapalem near Rajahmundry this morning, Prakasa rao said that the mega star has pledged the people for whom he said he would achieve social justice to the congress party. “He said he was merging his party with congress for the sake of achieving social justice for the downtrodden but it is not true and he has resorted to this merger for his own and selfish gains,” lambasted Gone.

He cursed that congress will be totally wiped out from the political scene because of this marriage of convenience between congress and PRP. “Congress will be wiped out and Jagan will
prove his mettle in the Panchayat and Municipal elections in July,” Prakasa rao asserted.

Congress MLC Jupudi Prabhakara rao who defied the party directives and was participating in the fasting camps and Yatras undertaken by Jagan, said that Jagan has been giving sleepless nights to the congress government. “Jagan is the political heir of the late YSR and nobody else,” he said.
