Congress MP Mr Mekapati Rajamohan reddy, owing allegiance to the YSR Congress party Chief Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy, said today that the Telangana people have been eagerly waiting for Jagan Odarpu yatra in the Telangana region.

Addressing media persons at the party office in Hyderabad after releasing a poster relating to the proposed demonstration on Jan 4 demanding fee reimbursement to colleges, Rajamohan reddy said that Jagan would undertake the Odarpu Yatra in Telangana area after completing his present schedule in Guntur district.

Rajamohan reddy and other leaders said that government has released only Rs.500 Cr as against pending arrears of Rs. 3000 Cr towards fee reimbursement. “The balance also must be released immediately,” he said.

Referring to the statement of the chief minister Kirankumar reddy that one lakh jobs would be given to the youth in the state by December end, he demanded the government to release the details of persons who were given the jobs.

Party leaders Konatala Ramakrishna and P. Pratapa reddy also addressed the media persons. (JUBS)
