Babu's new strategy to tackle Balayya

The upcoming general elections are like life and death for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and chief Chandrababu Naidu. As TDP was out of power for over a decade, it should be able to get back in business or else it would gradually fade away from the public. So having noticed this, TDP supremo Mr. Naidu is very keen to come to power. As part of it he did 'Padayatra' last year which improved their fame marginally and continuously TDP has been fighting against the governments over key issues.

Keeping aside all aspects, Mr Naidu has now shifted his focus to his party. To select candidates for upcoming elections is huge task and leaders who won't get a chance may revolt which ultimately troubles the party. Also in addition to this Naidu observed the importance of family members who are desperately keen in contesting for the Assembly segments. Off late Nandamuri Balakrishna has long back announced that he would contest from Krishna district in any constituency and he has been meeting all the leaders of Krishna district so that it would give him moral boost.

Balakrishna too made up a short wish list for his near and dear who are willing to contest on behalf of TDP in elections. Though Mr. Naidu is ready to give ticket for Balakrishna, he is not happy with Balayya for forming a group. So Naidu sketched a clever plan and now he is considering to send Balakrishna to Rajya Sabha. This tactic would reduce the Balayya's influence in party like how Nandamuri Harikrishna faded away is what Naidu is estimating.

However Naidu is yet to decide on candidates for Rajya Sabha and he might take a final call after discussions with party men later this month.
