Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy to contest from Ongole:- Raghava Reddy, the son of Ongole MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, recently made an announcement regarding his father's participation in the upcoming elections. According to Raghava Reddy, Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu believes that having a experienced TD representative in Parliament would benefit Andhra Pradesh by securing more funding and welfare schemes. In light of this, Raghava Reddy revealed that his father will be contesting from the Ongole Lok Sabha seat. He also called upon the supporters of TD, JS, and BJP, as well as the general public, to rally behind his father and help him secure victory in the polls.

Furthermore, Raghava Reddy assured everyone that his father will be accessible to the youth, leaders, and people of Ongole, and will work diligently to fulfill their aspirations. The contestant's name has yet to be officially revealed. Ongole MP Srinivasulu Reddy and Raghava Reddy were implicated in the liquor scandal in Delhi, with Raghava Reddy becoming a witness for the prosecution.
