Srihari was rightly called Real Star

Srihari was a dedicated cine artist.  He took every character as a challenge whether it was a minor or a major one.  Even during the time in his career when he was playing lead roles, he accepted small supporting roles also.  His last movie was Thoofan in which he played the role of Sherkhan which originally was played by Hindi actor Pran who too used to take any role that was offered to him with great devotion.

Srihari in fact was having liver problem due to jaundice.  Jaundice depletes energy totally from the system.  He was very week.  But as he used to think that work is worship, Srihari did not miss the schedule at Mumbai.  Apart from the physical weakness, he was playing a powerful antagonist in the movie of Prabhu Deva with Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles.

He complained of pain in his chest while shooting and was rushed to Leelavathi Hospital at 10.00 but he breathed his last at 4.00 pm in spite of the treatment by the best doctor as his wife Shanthi narrates the incident.

Although it is a loss to the cine industry, it is also an honor for an artist to act till his last day!

Srihari's passion for his profession teaches us two things.

1. A person in his profession should do justice to his role in the total program.  One should contribute to the whole to the extent of his designated portion which applies not only to cinema field but in any activity in the world.

2. A person should always pursue till last in spite of all the odds.  One should give his best to the main program in which he is a part.  The whole program is complete only if everyone completes his allotted portion.

The high philosophy is simply adopted by Srihari in his profession and that is the real reason for calling him a Real Star.
