As described by Abu Jundal, Ajmal Kasab who was the only terrorist that was caught alive by the police in the 26/11 attacks was intelligent, clever and a smart operative among the group of 10 terrorists sent for the attack by Lashkar-e Toiba (LeT).
Jundal has said that he identified his skills in the Hindi class in Mudrike Pakistan. He said that he was the only one who could identify him as an Indian while all others except the few top bosses were unaware of such knowledge. He also asked him if he hailed from Mumbai to which he answered yes.
Kasab was attracted to Mumbai mostly due to bollywood. He had also watched numerous hindi movies after his Daura-e-Aam (21-day basic combat course) and Daura-e-Khaas (3-month advanced combat course) when he was restrained in a room.
The terrorist has also been taught Marathi and Hindi to avoid suspicion when they arrive Mumbai. They even argued with two fishemen who spotted them at Mumbai's Budhwar Park in Colaba.
The Mumbai police have been trying to match Jundal's voice with the voice from the control room that have been taped in the attack.
