SRK to appear before court over public smoking

Bollywood actor and IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner, Shahrukh Khan seems to be in a series of problems. After Wankade Stadium scuffle, the notices from Rajasthan police are likely to spoil the peace of the actor. The police served summons on Shahrukha Khan for smoking publicly during an IPL match at Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur in April 2012.

The complainant Anand Rathore, the director of a private cricket academy, moved the court on April 9 against the public smoking on the stadium, which was banned. The complainant has said that Shahrukh fagged in front of thousands of cricketers when the match was going on.

The court, which accepted the petition, has directed Shahrukh Khan to appear before the court on May 26 for giving an explation. Shahrukh Khan was unavailable to our sources to talk on the matter.  All in all, Badshah of Bollywood is continuously hitting headlines for all wrong reasons. (Phani)
