As everyone knows pretty well, showing middle finger conveys a pretty bad meaning like an obscene hand gesture to interpret the likes of a penis.

There was a hue and cry whenever such gestures are made by celebrities in the past. However, Sonam Kapoor is the latest celebrity to join the bandwagon by showing her middle finger on screen in her forthcoming movie ‘Players’.

This has drawn flak from the Censor Board. Unless the movie is released, we don’t know whether the scene is removed from the movie or shown not caring for the objections of the censor board.

Sonam Kapoor, a leading Bollywood heroine and daughter of the famous actor Anil Kapoor, also showed her middle finger at a press conference in Mumbai on Dec 30 in support of her screen gesture.

“There is no other meaning to it. It is the language of the present day youth and I don’t believe in movie censorship,” she said openly expressing opposition to the objections of the Censor Board. (JUBS)
