In a promotional interview of her latest film Neerja, hottie Sonam Kapoor shared an incident with the media, which almost led her to death.

Sonam said that, she was in a severe accident when she was 15 years old. She said that, she was in a car with her friend Kunal, when it suddenly stopped. Cursing the situation, Sonam got out off the car, asking even his friend to come out. But before he could get off, his side of the car had caught fire and the door was jammed.

Sonam, who observed Kunal’s situation, thought of saving her friend, instead of absconding from the area. Sonam said that, she struggled to pull Kunal out and managed to get him out safely, seconds before the car blew up.   

Sonam’s Neerja movie is awaiting its release tomorrow. The film is based on the real life brave heart Neerja Bhanot, who saved the passengers on the flight, from the hijackers. It was due to that, Sonam shared an incident, that revealed her brave side too.

After receiving appreciations from the Bollywood biggies like Amithab Bachchan, Aamir Khan etc, Sonam is already on high and the makers are confident that they would make it big in Bollywood.
