Australia rap up at 333 allout, Indians moving in full swing

The second day at the Melbourne cricket grounds in Australia saw some very good swing of the ball by the Indian pacer Zaheer Khan and off spinner Ravindraa Ashwin who restricted the hosts to 333 after an overnight score of 277/6 and grabbed three wickets each. Following the hosts debacle in the early morning session, Team India walked in, just before lunch.

Post lunch session saw Sehwag on rampage mode, but Gautam Gambhir was a bit struggling and gave away his wicket making India 22/1. Then the wall of India Rahul Dravid walks in amid applause. And Sehwag falls flat for Patterson’s ball after scoring 67 runs. Now it’s time for the seniors to take control of the game. Dravid joined by Sachin together are in a fine nick taking India to: 158/2 (45 Ovs), and trail behind the hosts at 175. Sachin is on 44 and Dravid is on 42. Going good for the guests.

The hosts criticized the bowling department of the tourists but that had only ruined the hosts dream run. With a stronger line up India is all set to mark a niche at the MCG today. For more frequent updates and analysis watch this space regularly.
