India-Ireland match, Dhoni, World Cup Group B match, specialist bowlerAmid fears that the cricket baby Ireland may stun cricket fans once again with a repeat of its astounding performance on Sunday when it encounters India in its group B world cup match at Bangalore, Indian captain MS Dhoni has decided not to use any extra specialist bowler.

Speaking to media persons after a long practice session at the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore, Dhoni said he had immense faith in the batting strength of his team and he would continue to rely on his part time bowlers in the tomorrow’s match against Ireland.

If you remember well, Ireland successfully chased a total of 327 scored by England on Wednesday in a dramatic finish in their Group B world cup encounter.

Media was speculating that the Indian captain may take an extra specialist bowler for the Sunday match in view of the team’s unimpressive performance in the past matches especially in their encounter with England. But, Dhoni’s statement today put all that speculation to rest.

“I would like to jump into the fray with seven batsmen because you should always back your strength, which is batting,” Dhoni said.
