a Website allowing to send emails in the FUTURE..

Remember time machine by HG Wells in which one could set the time and destination, travelling into past and future as desired. This interesting format is still an amusement, even if read today. Based on this setup may be it is right now not possible in the real world but in virtual world a novel initiative has just sprung up and that is interesting. The initiative designed by futureme.org allows you to send emails to self in futures. Simple login with your gmail or any other email id and type the message and set the time. Forget it; the email is sure to reach you on the set time. Though the founders suggest not using the official id, as one cannot assess the duration of a job.

Emails to others are of course discouraged but the privilege is extended exclusively to registered members. Emails to the future are forbidden from naming other people - for legal reasons - and you CAN also send advice to others via the site - although these come with serious restrictions.  It is noted that many writers want to surprise their future selves with the emails.

Hence anything from wishing self, to important appointments or something that one would like to remember in future could be sent. As ones memory is short-lived but email will get one back on track. The site allows you to send emails privately and anonymously, but publishes ‘public but anonymous’ excerpts of mails sent to various future selves. (With Inputs from Internet- Aarkay)
