So far we have heard that having coupling will help in reduction of stress, burning of calories and now University of Maryland psychologists say it also helps in boosting of intelligence. This latest research is conducted on mice and the researchers have found that having coupling increases the creation of neurons located within the hippocampus, an area of the brain that is responsible for the formation of long-term memory.

South Korean, Konkuk University also supported this study and they have said sexual activity increases the intellectual functions. Older couples who are more coupling active have less chances of getting dementia, quoted this study.
