Chandrababu Naidu's House Remand Plea Update:- AP former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu was arrested and sent for a 14-day judicial remand. His advocate Siddharth Luthra has requested the court with a petition claiming that there is a life threat for Babu in central prison and asked the court to give him house custody.

On the flip side, AP CID has filed a petition for five-day custody of Chandrababu to question him regarding the Skill Development scam of Rs 371 Cr.

But CBN’s counsel has requested the court to consider his age and grant him house arrest and they expressed their concern about CBN security, stating that the presence of hardened criminals in the central prison of Rajahmundry.

However Additional Advocate General Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy, who is representing the state government said that AP CID is opposing the house remand and there are also provisions to Naidu like strengthening electronic vigilance through CCTV cameras. He also said that a team of doctors are available round the clock to take care of Babu’s health. Reddy also said to the court that Chandrababu Naidu's health is perfectly alright.

Again on another hand, AP DGP has sent a letter to the ACB court to give directions to the court for additional security to Babu. Naidu’s counsel also filed a petition in the court stating to verify documents pertaining to the AP Skill Development corporation scam.

ACB court after going through all the petitions, asked the counsel to complete the hearing in one petition and the court adjourned the case to Tuesday, that is today.
