Rare Super Moon On Indian Sky:- A rare astronomical event came across the Indian sky on Wednesday. A rare super blue moon illuminated the sky. This rare moon occurs when a full moon collides with both a blue moon and a perigee moon.

The Super Blue Moon that happened on August 30th is the third and final full moon for the Northern Hemisphere Summer. Super Blue Moon is visible to the naked eye, according to NASA. This is the second blue moon that happens in this calendar month, which happens once in two and a half years. Perigee moon occurs when the moon is at its closest point to Earth orbit, which happens about once in every 27.5 days.

Super Blue Moon occurs when both the blue moon and the perigee moon come across. The Super Blue Moon will appear 14 per cent larger than the normal and 30 per cent brighter than the regular full moon. At this time the Moon will be closer to the Earth than usual.

On August 30th 2023, Super Blue Moon will reach its peak at 06:07 AM, IST on August 31st, while on August 30th 08:37 PM, EDT. The Super Blue Moon is visible to the naked eye from anywhere in the world, this is more clearly visible in places with less light pollution.
