YS Jagan releases Rs 680.44 Cr:- On Monday for the second quarter of 2023, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan released Rs 680.44 Cr towards the ‘Jagananna Vidya Deevena’ (JVD). With this JVD scheme, 9,32,235 students will be benefitted. The event happened at the Nagari constituency and on this occasion, Nagiri MLA Roja and YS Jagan addressed the public.
The Chief Minister talked about the transformative commitments and initiatives that were taken by the YSRCP government towards students. He said he had transformed the educational system and took the initiative to eradicate poverty through education. Jagananna Vidya Deevena, through this scheme students will get 100 per cent fee reimbursement, which will remove the financial barrier for the students to pursue their higher education.

Many welfare schemes of YS Jagan like, JVD, Vasathi Deevena, Amma Vodi, Videshi Vidya Deevena, Goru Mudda, Vidya Kanuka, YSR Sampoorna Poshana, Nadu-Nedu, YSR Kalyanamasthu and YSR Shadi Tohfa worked for students educational needs. Besides this introduction of English medium in government schools is an innovative move by CM.
YS Jagan on this occasion said that in the TDP ruling, they never made any landmark schemes. He also said that when we think of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu we remember his backstabbing to his own father-in-law NTR and Jagan also pointed out that Chandrababu Naidu even after back stabbing went and attended the event of NTR commemorative coin launch.
