Four Cops Suspended in Andhra Pradesh:- On Monday, SP Adeep Raj Singh suspended the Sub-inspector and three constables and a home guard of Nathavaram police station, Anakapalli district.

In detail, an auto-rickshaw driver K Nani jumped off from the first floor of Nathavaram police station. He was arrested for sexual harassment case on Saturday late evening. He sustained minor injuries and currently undergoing treatment. Localites accused SI and the other cops of torturing Nani, which led him to jump-pff from the roof.

But, station SI claims that during interrogation he jumped off from the terrace, to escape. There was a huge protest going around the station by the local public claiming that police are harassing the public.

Villagers had heated arguments with SI Lasminarayana. SP assured a clean investigation into the incident. Police have registered a case on Nani under sections 354A and 354D for harassing the woman.

As Andhra Pradesh police are facing a negative reaction from a larger section of people as their support to the ruling party and also on current happening circumstances, like Anju Yadav slapping a Janasena party worker and one more SI cheating case in Vizag. Even a small incident in any police station in Andhra Pradesh is attaining huge attention and protests.
