Chirala MLA Suffers Snake Bite:- YSRCP leader and former MLA Amanchi Krishna Mohan suffers a snake bite on Monday at around 7 PM. He was rushed to Bapatla district hospital for first aid and then to Vijayawada.

Amanchi Krishna Mohan was walking in his shrimp factory near Potti Subbaiyapalem when a snake bit him. He felt something on his leg and then released that it was a snake bite. To stop the venom spread, his leg was tied tight with a hand-kerchief and then he was shifted to a Government hospital for first aid. Later Amanchi was shifted to Manipal Hospital in Vijayawada for further treatment. Currently, Amanchi's health condition is stable.

Doctors also inquired about his health conditions and previous medications. Doctors suspect that the snake was non-venomous. He is currently under observation and he might get discharged today if his condition remains stable.

Amanchi was two time MLA from Chirala. From the congress party he won in 2009 and then from Janasena, later joined in YSR congress. Amanchi Krishna Mohan is currently in YSRCP, while his brother Amanchi Swamulu joined the Janasena party recently.
