Amaravati Farmers celebrate after High Court's Decision:- The government of Andhra Pradesh took a U-turn against the capital of the state Amaravati. The AP government led by YS Jaganmohan Reddy decided to implement three capital rule and shift the executive capital to Vizag. Hundreds of petitions are filed in the AP High Court and the farmers of Amaravati have been protesting against the government from the past 807 days. The AP High Court slammed the government for their move on three capital row. The High Court strictly asked the government to work on Amaravati and submit the updates on a regular basis. After the verdict was favorable, the farmers celebrated the occasion.

Several farmers gathered in large numbers in the capital and near the High Court yesterday. They raised the slogans of 'Jai Amaravati' and 'Jai Andhra Pradesh'. The farmers also thanked the judges and asked the government to implement the directions of the Andhra Pradesh High Court. Amaravati Parirakshana Samithi convenor A Siva Reddy welcomed the decision of the High Court. He wanted the government to take up the developments of Amaravati at the earliest. The AP government was asked to develop the capital as per the masterplan and the High Court also asked the AP government to hand over back the returnable plots to the farmers.
