26,291 New Cases and 118 Deaths reported in India:- The cases of coronavirus are slowly increasing in the country. A total number of 26,291 new cases are reported in the country in the last 24 hours as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. 118 people passed away in India and Maharashtra reported 16,620 new cases and the government of Maharashtra imposed lockdown in Nagpur district from March 15th to 21st. The total number of coronavirus cases reached 1,13,85,339 and the death tally is at 1,58,725. The active cases got increased to 2,19,262 which constitutes 1.85 percent of the total infections reported in India. The country reported more than 20,000 cases per day from the past five days.
The number of recoveries in India are said to be 1,10,07,352. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) issued a circular saying that all the passengers who do not wear their face masks properly will be de-boarded from the flight and will be put on no-fly list for three months. The active cases in Maharashtra are said to be 1.27 lakhs. As per the reports coming from the Indian Council of Medical Research, the total number of samples that are tested yesterday in the country are 7,03,772 and the samples tested in total are 22,74,07,413. The recovery rate in the country dropped from 96.82 percent to 96.75 percent.
