Nirav Modi's Sister Turns Approver: ED To Recover Huge Assets:- The entire nation woke up to the shocking scam of billionaire jeweler and businessman Nirav Modi who fled from the country after he owes Rs 13,000 crores to the Punjab National Bank and its allies. Nirav Modi is arrested in London after he was spotted in several countries. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials are trying their best to extradite Nirav Modi back to the country and the case is currently under process in the London court. Nirav Modi's sister Purvi and her husband Maiank Mehta are said to have turned approvers in this case which is a huge turning point.

This is a major outbreak for the officials of ED as they can recover Rs 580 crores through the auction of their attached properties along with the money lying in their bank accounts. Purvi and Maiank turned the witnesses in the scam and Nirav Modi, his uncle Mehul Choksi will land into further troubles now. Nirav and Mehul are said to have acquired Rs 13,000 crores through forged letters and laundered the money abroad. Purvi is a Belgian national and Maiank is an Irish national and they are named as co-accused by the ED officials. The ED attached some of the properties of Nirav Modi in the past.
