APSRTC to Run Special Services for Dasara:- After the attack of coronavirus pandemic, the public transport across the country came to a halt. The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) owned by the state has been operating limited services in the state. The services between AP and Telangana too are yet to resume because of the creative differences. Suffering huge losses, APSRTC is in plans to bounce back and earn decent profits during the Dasara season. With the public lifeline returning back to normalcy, the services are increased. APSRTC is now in plans to run special buses across the state during the Dasara holiday season. RTC hopes to regain the losses they incurred this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Dasara happens to be the first festival season coming after coronavirus. A key decision has been made to run buses for long distances. Special services will be available between 15th and 28th of this month. 2028 buses will be operated to long distances. The APSRTC is in plans to provide an advance ticket reservation facility for these services. They can be either booked on the RTC portal or in the bus stations through reservation counters. The negotiations between APSRTC and TSRTC are not successful. APSRTC is quite confident to restore the interstate services at the earliest so that both the state transport corporations can gain enough profits.
