Two Telangana MLAs Accuses Congress Of Offering Rs 50 Lakhs For Vote:- Two Congress legislators who defected to join in the leading Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) accused Congress of trying to bribe before the upcoming Legislative Council elections that are scheduled to take place on March 12th this year. Athram Sakku and R Kantha Rao alleged that Congress MLC candidate offered Rs 50 lakh each for their votes which created a sensation all over. Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy challenged the Telangana Chief Minister KCR about the deal that he offered for the Congress MLAs and soon Athram Sakku and R Kantha Rao accused Congress revealing about the deal.

Athram Sakku and R Kantha Rao issued a joint statement in the presence of media. They even made things clear that they wished to develop their constituencies because of which they deferred with Congress and joined TRS. Athram Sakku and R Kantha Rao clarified that if they wanted money, they would have continued in Congress. TRS is contesting in four seats, MIM is contesting in one seat for the MLC seats. TRS Party President KTR defended Athram Sakku and R Kantha Rao for their statements.
