AP Budget 2018-19 Highlights:- AP Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu introduced the budget for AP today in the state's Assembly. Considering the state's development and the upcoming elections, AP Government stepped out with a decent budget which satisfied all the sections. The total budget is said to be Rs 1,91,063.91 crores. The revenue expenditure has been Rs 1,50,270.99 crores and the capital cost has been Rs 28,678.49 crores. The revenue deficit has been revealed as Rs 24,205.21 crores.

Agriculture has been allotted Rs 12,352 crores and the Irrigation has been given Rs 16,978.23 crores. Rs 20,815 crores have been allotted for the rural development and education sector got Rs 24,185 crores. BCs will be benefited huge as they have been allotted Rs 12,200 crores and Rs 2623 crores have been sanctioned for drinking water and sanitation. Rs 9000 crores have been allotted for Polavaram project and Rs 3074 crores for industries. The budget estimates have been increased by 21% when compared to the last year.
