The movie has been directed by Devang Dholakia and the film features Sunny Leone, Ram Kapoor, Evelyn Sharma and Navdeep Chabbra in the lead roles. The movie is said to be a sex comedy and Sunny Leone will be seen as a successful Bollywood star while Ram Kapoor will be seen as a Gujarati businessman in the movie.

The movie has been produced by Alumbra Entertainments, Magic Pictures along with Maximus Multimedia. KK Agarwal and Mukesh Purohit are the producers for the movie. The movie has been initially titled as Patel Rap and later it has been renamed to Kuch Kuch Locha Hai. The movie will complete all the formalities and will release on May 8th all over.
