Manmohan Singh Summoned In Coal Scam

Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has been rumored to be accussed in Coal scam during the Congress rule when Manmohan worked as thePrime Minister of India. He has been summoned today by a special court. The investigation has been on from sometime and he has been questioned several times by the CBI. However everyone remained tight lipped on this and the special court has now given the Ex PM a shock. The court also summoned industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla, former Coal Secretary P.C. Parakh and three others as accused along with M/s Hindalco and its officials.

The the above mentioned have been summoned for the breach of trust, offence of criminal conspiracy under the prevention of corruption act. The court ordered all the summoned to appear before the court on Apirl 8th without fail. Earlier, the CBI has recorded a special statement of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh regarding the allocation of Odisha coal blocks to Kumar Mangalam Birla’s company Hindalco. The CBI has submitted the complete report after the investigation for which the court has now issued summons. Let’s wait to see what happens next.
