KTR Says That Telangana Is Against Random Testing:- Telangana Chief Minister KCR wanted each and every MLA, MP to be focused on fighting against coronavirus which is shaking the nation. Telangana Minister KTR is quite active and is responding at the earliest. He also made his presence along with the officials and other leaders overlooking the facilities. KTR made a sensational comment that Telangana is against random testing as it brings a negative impact on the people's psyche. He instead suggested the health officials to go ahead with identification of infection of hotspots.

Once they are identified, KTR asked the health officials and doctors to conduct extensive tests in these regions. "With a population of 130 crores in India, it would not be a good option to take up random testing. This is stressful and would yield bad results. Health officials are already working round the clock and this makes them exhausted. This also creates panic among the people. The actual patients who are in need may not receive the needed health care at the right time because of the random tests. Private diagnostic centres too should be allowed to test coronavirus so that this would reduce the stress on the government health workers and officials" said KTR.

He also supported KCR's statement of lockdown extension till the month-end.
