Cannot Continue to Monitor Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple Says SC:- The treasures of Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala are said to have created enough sensation across the globe. After several debates, it was Supreme Court which took over the case and is handling it currently. However on Tuesday, the Supreme Court made some sensational comments that it cannot continue to monitor the administration of the prestigious Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple. However the court revealed that it will examine whether to open the closed vaults of the temple.Extraordinary treasure with some mystical energy has been claimed to be remained which is closed.

Chief Justice J.S. Khehar and D.Y. Chandrachud along with his bench stepped out with the updates and informed that the opening of the vault will take place later and the decision will be taken soon.However Gopal Subramanium, who has been assisting the case as an amicus curiae argued with the court asking the vault to be opened soon to find the mystical energy. The Vault which is famously called Kallara has been opened in the past revealed some priests.

There are also arguments that Vault B which is said to have huge treasures has been opened in the past and will make no damage to the mankind. Some of them also said that it has multiple chambers. Several directions have been issued by the bench leading the case in the Supreme Court to the concerned departments to keep the treasures secured. The auditing department along with the accounts and the security departments have been alerted in the matter.

The Supreme Court even said that the temple authorities should stay secured and concerned about the treasures of Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple. A government appointed person too will monitor the expenses and the audits of the temple.The Supreme Court even asked the Kerala government to appoint a three member panel committee from the Indian Audit and Accounts Service to look over the matter completely.

The Supreme Court even asked the Kerala government to appoint the suitable persons so that no controversies will step out in the issue. The controversy over the administration and management of the historic temple has been pending before the Supreme Court for the last few years in the wake of charges of financial irregularities. Recently there have been eight diamonds missing from the tilak of Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple idol from the temple and the investigation is on. The diamonds are worth Rs 21 lakhs as per the current market informed the temple sources and the theft has been found during regular check of the ornaments.
