Congress leader Danam Nagendar is reportedly willing to join TRS, but Telangana Chief Minister KCR puts a rare condition for it.
The level of hide and seek, Danam played in shifting the party, was not played by any other leader in the recent times. Many times, it was thought that, he would be shifting to TRS, but he along with other Congress leaders said that, Danam is dedicated to Congress and will not quit under any cost.
Even when Danam Nagendar was assembled with the senior Congress leaders recently, at his residence, the media speculated that, he would announce the decision of joining TRS, after the meeting.
But to the shock, other Congress leaders like Shabbir Ali said that, Danam know the values in Congress party and is dedicated to the party, till his last breath. Even Danam condemned all the rumors about quitting Congress and asked the public, not to believe those.
After such open statement, the buzz has stopped about Danam’s entry into TRS. But to the shock, he now announced that, he is going to join TRS party.
What made Danam Nagendar to join TRS?
Though the senior leaders expressed their confidence on Saturday that, Danam would continue to stay in Congress, his sudden decision of joining TRS, is raising several buzzes, among the political circles.
One can easily speculate that, Danam was involved in a tough rivalry with the other Congress leaders and took an overnight decision of joining TRS.
The analysts say that, Shabbir Ali and other Congress leaders, might have tried to convince Danam, to retain in Congress, but upon the failure of all such trials, Danam might have made this decision official.
Now the actual point is, KCR, who gives a warm welcome to all the other party leaders who is willing to join TRS, is not able to give the same to Danam. Reportedly, KCR said that, he is not going to welcome Danam and also assured that, he had no objection, if Danam is ready to join TRS, with Keshav Rao’s greetings.
But Danam is strict about his decision and said that he is ready to join TRS, only if KCR gives a welcome. If that does not happen, Danam said to retain in Congress itself. The past internal rivalries, between KCR and Danam, is making KCR to stay away from welcoming Danam. So it should be seen, which of the two biggies, compromise on the issue?
