Digvijay Not to Fix Dates

Recently appointed Digvijay Singh to look after the political affairs of the State of Andhra Pradesh says that unlike others, he is not going to fix a date to arrive at solution on separate Telangana issue.  He said it after he had a round of talks with the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Digvijay Singh says that so far many have given dates and he doesn't want to do the same mistake.  It is a good idea as the decision is not in the hands of all those persons announced earlier and it is the same with Digvijay too.  But the previous Congress party leaders who announced the dates also, did not do it on their own decision!  More over the present situation in the State does not demand a hurried announcement of a date before which a decision will be taken on Telangana.  It is only used in the past as water to be sprinkled on the heat generated by the Telangana Movement.

Digvijay met Kiran Kumar at AP Guest House in the evening on Wednesday to discuss for as long as two hours on many issues related to the State that includes a boiling Telangana issue.

Digvijay Singh whose original plan was to visit the State on 28th postponed it to 1st July.  After the PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana met him at Delhi, Digvijay changed his tour plan.
