With a humiliating defeat in the elections, Telangana Congress wants to bounce back with a booster and so it is very firm to win the Medak by-election. Only a week left for the campaign and the high command has roped for star campaigners for its candidate Sunitha Laxma Reddy. Astonishingly, Congress high command has deployed biggies like Digvijay Singh, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Sachin Pilot, Jyothiraditya Scindia, Azaruddin, Jaipal Reddy. Along with this top leaders, a big bunch of local Congress leaders will accompany Medak candidate for the campaign. However, still there is no clarity whether Sonia and Rahul Gandhi would campaign or not.

Probably this is for the first time, Congress took a by-election very serious. The message sent by president Sonia Gandhi is the reason for national level leaders getting ready for campaign. Apparently Sonia wants to teach KCR a lesson who has deceived by not merging his TRS party with Congress.  But except in Zaheerabad, Congress party did not win a single seat in Medak district and it is an advantage for TRS party. Nevertheless, Congress is not giving up, wants to prove its strength in Telangana and regain its lost glory.

On other hand, TRS party has appointed Harish Rao has the key campaigner and is taking all the care needed. Though KCR has assigned ministers for each constituency, Harish is drawing the strategies for the campaign. While the BJP has pinned high hopes on Jagga Reddy's charisma and Sanga Reddy constituency is going to vital for the BJP candidate.
