Six die after drowning

On Sunday in three different events six youngsters had been killed after they drowned. In one incident that occurred near the Gottimukala village of Krishna District two of seven boys had washed away in a stream. The boys hailing from Kanchikacharla had gone inside the stream for a swim in the Enugugeddavagu but could not return as they were washed away in the torrent from the streams.

They were both identified as Surendra and Sampath both teenagers around 15 years old. The were in their 10th class. The police are still locating their bodies but the village had  a melancholic atmosphere.

In the second incident, two youngsters who were riding a bike and had accidentally slipped into a canal in Jillela village in Duvvuru mandal of Kadapa district early in the morning. The culvert where the accident took place was dug out to expand the national highway by the NREGS works.

In a irrigation well that belonged to Gondi Adinarayana's farm, his sons had met their fate as they drowned in it. The incident took place at Polaki mandal in Srikakulam district. G Chiranjeevi, and his brother G Appa rao (Madhu) both very young kids had breathed their last after taking a dip in the well. Expert swimmers later recovered their bodies.
