Telangana Employees JAC met the Chief Secretary of the State Pankaj Dwivedi to discuss the assurances given by the Government during their strike but failed to fulfill them. JAC gave notices to the Government regarding the delays in implementing the assurance given.  They also cautioned the Government that a stage wise agitation will be taken up if the demands are not fulfilled immediately.  JAC convenor Swamy Gowd said that they would resort to a general strike again if their agitation is not taken by the Government seriously.

Swamy Gowd revealed their plan of action like this- agitation will be taken up in the lunch hour from Feb 21 onwards.  It will be upgraded to ‘Work to Rule’ from March 5th and a ‘Chalo Hyderabad’ will be taken up on 20th March.  Swamy Gowd says that the intensity will be increased if Government doesn’t respond and honor their commitment during the strike.  (JS)
