Alka Lamba Not Alone To Join AAP

Alka Lamba visited AAP's Party office at Connaught Place Delhi on Thursday afternoon.  She met the senior leader Yogendra Yadav and expressed her inclination to join AAP on December 29 after the party leader Arvind Kejriwal swears in as Chief Minister of Delhi on 28th.

Yadav told to media persons that not only Alka Lamba but many more are showing their interest to join AAP from Congress and BJP.  He said that they will work for the party for 4 months before they will be treated as activie members of the party.

As some of the members of AAP are suspicious about the Alka Lamba’s move as a ploy of the Congress party, some are say that many more people are going to migrate to AAP soon.

Alka Lamba was critical of AAP when she was with Congress party.  She was in association with Congress party since 1994. But when she revealed the name of the victim of 2012 Guahati molestation case to the fact finding agency, she was unceremoniously removed.

Alka Lamba said that she was approached by AAP leader at the time of elections but did not want to take the ticket as people may think that she accepted AAP party ticket as Congress party denied her a ticket.  She complains that the Congress leaders lost touch with the ground reality and its workers.  The handful of them takes decisions and those are forced on others.  Whereas, Alka Lamba says, the the AAP is discussing each and every decision with the public and party workers before taking a decision.

Alka Lamba who resigned from the party membership on Wednesday approached AAP on Thursday.
