How Kamal Haasan is different from Vikram and Surya? What Vikram and Surya taught from Kamal? Let us make an analysis on this issue.  

Kamal Haasan is not concerned, whether the movie is commercial or not. He can act in an out and out commercial movie like Dasaavatharam, with unique characterization and even can do a movie like Eenadu, which is completely out of the commercial aspect. He is least concerned about the budget, his remuneration or movie business, but always tries to give a different experience to the audience, performing unique roles.

On the contrary, actors like Vikram and Surya, are even concentrating on the commercial aspect, opting unique roles. Surya movies like Gajini, Rakshasudu, 7th sense etc comes under the same genre.

Coming to Vikram, in the beginning, though he concentrated on non-commercial movies like Sivaputhrudu, now he is only concerned about commercial movies, with different characterization. Aparichitudu, Mallanna, I are a few of the examples of the analysis.

Non-commercial movies cannot reach the huge number of audience, but the commercial movies, irrespective of its result, can reach a large public.

Most of the experiments done by Vikram and Surya, like I, Mallanna, Rakshasudu, 7th sense, could not give success to the stars, but could reach many.

On the other hand, a few of the non-commercial movies of Kamal Haasan like Pothuraju, Tenali could not even gain the audience’s attention. Even then, Kamal never compromised in his choice of films and moved forward.   

Meanwhile, both Vikram and Surya are continuing with same commercial and unique characterizations in the films.
 
Currently, Vikran signed a movie called Marma Manithan and Surya has released the posters of his new movie 24 (Surya’s 24 poster above) and Kamal is already rocking with his latest release Cheekati Rajyam.
