The South Indian sizzling star, Nayanatara has reportedly taken a decision to stop pursuing film career in the backdrop of her impending marriage with actor-cum-choreographer, Prabhu Deva. Currently, she is busy shooting for the Telugu movie Rama Rajyam being Directed by Bapu. Sources close to Nayanatara said she has made up her mind not to act any more in films after being told by do so by her fiance Prabhu Deva. Going by her determined mood, Rama Rajyam will be her last move in films. She plays the role of Sita in the movie while hero Balakrishna appears as Lord Rama.

Though she is flooded with many offers she has stoped giving callsheets to film producers. However, she will reshift her priorities and act in TV serials. Recently she acted in a commercial to which she was paid a startling remuneration of Rs.1 crore.The Romantic actress said that though she was awarded with an opportunity to act in Kaavalan opposite Vijay she was constrained not to accept the offer as around that point of time she was on the verge of taking a decision to bow out of films. According to Nayanatara, she was to delighted to have been offered the role of Sita in Rama Rajyam and the damsel Nayanatara  is intent on riveting in the given role  before bidding farewell to the industry.  


Nayanthara debuted the Tamil film industry at a young age (19) with the film, Chandramukhi, made in 2005. Also,she went on to play some glamorous  roles in Telugu movies such as Lakshmi and Boss in 2006. So far Nayanthara has been featured in over 30 movies comprising  Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu languages. Her last film in "Kollywood" was Villu wherein she paired with hero Vijay. The film was reproduced in Telugu titled 'Yama Kantri'. Prabhu Deva-directed Yama Kantri is scheduled to be released in this month only.
 
Prabhu deva recently divorced his wife so as to  marry Nayanthara. The pair's wedding is expected to take place in the current year. But before then she has to endure her lega battle with Prabhu Deva’s first wife.
