Varna Tamil version of which is Irandam Ulagam is a graphical extravaganza with a high budget movie made by PVP being readied to release tomorrow in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh is going to get good response from the Telugu cine lovers as expected by the cine critics.
The reason is not the story of fantasy with two worlds and not the costly settings, outdoor shootings and graphics but partially because of Anushka’s warrior role in the movie.
Anuskha Shetty after Arundhati has etched a deep impression on the minds of the Telugu film audience. She became famous for woman-centric roles. But she has not been seen in any of the recent movies in such an important role. The news of Rudrama Devi and Bahubali are making hype about the roles of Anushka for which she lost some kilos of weight and indulged in daring acts in the stunt scenes.
The role in Varna in which she is playing a role of a warrior will satisfy the audience as a prelude to those movies. The Telugu audience may not think clearly in so many words but an impression of that sort is certainly going to make the audience go to the theaters to see the movie as critics reckon. Then it depends on the movie how it makes use of it with its quality.
