She had first began exploring her endless creativity with singing rock songs along with her band. She also gave many live shows, earning many fans in the process. But, singing has taken a backseat for now, she says.
Her vocal cords haven't had much chance for expression lately. Acting has received higher attention as that is her priority now. With Balupu doing great at the theaters and D-Day creating a buzz, Shruti is taking acting very seriously.
Still, all is not lost with her singing skills, as she had lent her voice for a song in D-Day. She may be a star, but Shruti Hassan will always be a rockstar.
