Ramayya Vasthavayya director will not hide

Harish Shankar has made it clear that come rain or sun, he will keep tweeting his opinions. This is a change from the usual trend of keeping silent when a film garners more negative talk than postive. Jr NTR has received many compliements for RV and so did Shruti Hassan. However, the film itself faced the heat of many a disappointed viewer.

The most disappointed are the girls who wanted to check out a romantic comedy but instead received fight upon fight that they couldn't digest. Though some are saying he brought down some of his Gabbar Singh credibility with Ramayya Vasthavayya, Harish Shankar is not accepting defeat yet.

“Appreciation unnappudu Login avvadam criticism unnappudu LOgOut avvadam Naaku chetha kaadu ....” he hinted on the social networking site. So, instead of hiding, Harish is keeping his head high. Those who wanted to see NTR elevated to a larger than life status would just have to wait for another director to do it, according to popular talk.

After the weekend, it became clear that Ramayya Vasthavayya is not out to break any records. All the energy spent for the blood shed on screen could have been reserved for more comedy and entertainment, many say. Still, there is a silver lining to this story. Taran Adarsh posted a few figures that seemed to have made the director very happy.

“Telugu film RamayyaVastavayya - USA - opening weekend - $ 342,448 [Rs 2.11 cr]. Reported screens only. Final total could be much higher,” the analyst announced. Harish Shankar responded, “Thanks a lot Taran ji film industry deserves a person like you ... Thanks a ton for your gesture.” Looking at the bright side never hurt anyone.
