Puri, inspired by RGV!

PuriRGVDirector Puri Jagannath’s much hyped film ‘Nenu Na Raakshasi’ failed to attract the audience. though the take off of the film, appeared to be interesting and gave a never before like film impression, the Climax and the way Puri dealt with it, made the film look like a unrealistic one and audience were not able to convince with the same.

This affected Puri a lot. The Director has done a film in B – Town, starring Amitabh Bacchan, projecting Big – B in an entire new avatar. This is ‘Buddah Hoga tera Baap’. Released on July 1st, on the same day, when Amir Khan’s ‘Delhi Belly’ has been released, ‘Buddah…’ managed to earn equal revenue and name parallel to ‘Delhi Belly’. Director Puri Jagannath has become a wanted name in both T – Town and B – Town. The director will be directing Abhishek Bacchan and Mahesh Babu soon.

Puri has updated his work progress on a micro blogging site. The jist of this update is something like this, ‘done with the Script work of ‘The Businessman’, that I am going to make with Mahesh Babu in Telugu. The Script turned out to be Kick ass. I am sure this will be a fest to the audience. I thank RGV who has inspired me to make a film like this’.

The tagline of ‘The Businessman’ is ‘Guns don’t need arguments’. More or less RGV’s films such as Rakta Charitra are also based on these lines!
