RGV To Make NTR Biopic With Balakrishna As Hero?:- A few months ago, there were reports doing rounds that Nandamuri Balakrishna will be acting in the biopic of his father and actor-politician Late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao but none of those reports were confirmed.
Rumors were rife that Balakrishna was keen to play his father’s role in the biopic which will be go on floors in 2018 but none of them confirmed by the actor. Going by the recent reports, the biopic on NTR might be on and Balakrishna will indeed play the role of his father in it.
Reports are emerging that the outspoken and sensational filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma will direct the biopic on NTR and will have Nandamuri Balakrishna play his father in it.
In Telugu, Ram Gopal Varma last directed Vangaveeti, which was a political thriller based on stories of politicos in Vijayawada. RGV had said during the promotions of Vangaveeti that it will be his last film in Telugu and will not make another film after Vangaveeti in Telugu.
News about RGV directing the biopic on legendary actor NTR comes in as both surprising and exciting piece of news since it involves the controversial filmmaker. When made, this biopic on NTR will be most watched out for in Telugu cinema because anything that involves RGV makes it an exciting for his fans and followers.
Further details about this biopic on NTR to be directed by RGV are yet to be revealed.
However, Varma did not give any clarity over who is going to do the role of NTR but said he will release the movie soon. “I will expose all those who were involved in conspiracies to dethrone and malign NTR and his friends and enemies in real life,” said RGV.
In an audio released along with the song on his personal website, Varma praised NTR as the most popular political leader in India and he was a die hard fan of the actor-turned-politician. “I watched Adavi Ramudu 23 times and used to walk more than 10 kilometers when I did not have enough money to travel by bus,” he claims. “I was one among the lakhs of people who turned up to hear him speak after founding TDP in 1983 and now I feel proud to be able to make a film on NTR who made Telugus raise their head in pride,” he said.
Balakrishna is currently shooting for Puri Jagannadh’s “Paisa Vasool” and he will commence his next movie in the direction of KS Ravikumar soon. The biopic on NTR is likely to begin early next year. This is a big boost for RGV who has been waiting for a project since the debacle of Amitabh Bachchan's ‘Sarkar 3’. He is not getting any offers either in Bollywood or in Tollywood. Of late, he started making a web series.
