Korean smartphone maker Samsung Mobile has unveiled the Galaxy S5 at Mobile World Congress [MWC] in Barcelona last evening and from April 11th the phone will begin its shipping. Galaxy S5 has 5.1 inch screen slightly larger than the S4. The biggest addition to the S5 is fingerprint scanner and the a heart-rate monitor which is placed just below the rear camera under the LED flash. Months of Apple has added fingerprint scanner to iPhone 5S, Samsung has worked on it to induct in S5.
The phone has 16 megapixel camera and runs with Android 4.4 KitKat version. S5 also comes up with water and dust proof. To tackle the Apple iPhone 5S, Samsung has added the gold version of S5 too. The phone will be available in black, blue and gold colors.
Samsung has not announced the price of the device yet but the experts say it could be around $600. By the end of MWC, Samsung might make the price official.
