Google's notifier service has been discontinued, according to reports. The service was in operation for less than a decade.
The discontinuation was done due to the increasing popularity and growing demand of smartphones, web browsers and operating systems that notifies users instantly about a new mail or other such messages.
Those who want to use the notifier service will now have to install the app by first downloading Google Chrome. After downloading Google Chrome that comes with built-in desktop notifier, the users can connect to the productivity app.
