Price cut for Samsung Galaxy Camera

The Samsung Galaxy Camera which was originally introduced for a price of Rs 29,000 is now available for an official price or Rs 26,520 after a major price cut. The camera is a smart camera with the latest technology and Android operating system beneath the bright LCD. The new offer also included a free battery charging kit in India. The device is WiFi capable apart from the 3G facility unlike the rival Nikon S800c, a WiFi only Android-powered camera but available at a much cheaper price of Rs 20,950.

With a 4.8” screen, with the support of all the apps on the Google Play store, a ultra powerful 1.4GHz quadcore processor and a gig of RAM for multitasking, the camera really has it all but the battery performance with only a 1,650 mAh. The 3G connectivity allows it to share pictures from anywhere even if there is no WiFi. Hassle free instant uploads to social networking sites and more.

21x optical zoom, optical image stabilization, and other features make this a great deal with the reduced prices, suggesting that Samsung is trying to regain some lost market share. There is also an only WiFi model being released soon but there are no details available currently. On a related note, Samsung has recently cut the prices of  its flagship phones Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II.
